It's a funny old life!

Conor was around for almost three weeks - in my space, occupying computer, telly, rooms, shower, everything and at one point I thought I'd go bonkers if I didn't get some space. Finally, and only with the new Year, he spent a couple fo nights away, and I breathed a HUGE sigh of relief. Finally, I was able to get the rest I needed, spend a day in bed reading my new books, not getting dressed or showering or activly doing anything, no one no one at all for over 24 hours within my home making any demands on me. I loved it, and finally felt my batteries start to recharge slightly.

Now, today, he has GONE AWAY again, properly. So I freak out mildly, and organise an evening out with friends at Bar Wotever, so I'm not at home alone being weirded out by the silence and emptiness - that very silence and emptyness I crave when I don't have and love most of the time I do have it.

But I'm really looking forward to tonight, I haven't seen people like A in months at this stage. I was kind fo thrilled at how fast friends replied when i posted on facebook about possibly going in.

For now, Charlotte the cleaner is here , I've the place all tidied for her, and I just hav eto wait for her to do her magic. A student is phoneing for a 'phone tutorial' at 6, and by half past I plan to be out the door to go be sociable and spend time with people. its a funny old life.
