Ho hum.
Played some bass guitar at Moonblues last night and got a nice little blister on my finger now. You may be wonder this: "Alex, I never knew you could play the guitar!" Well, the truth is I can't. Don't have a musical bone in my body. I got some lyrical cartilage though.
Turns out this damn big thing ain't that hard to play. I've strummed it out about four times in my less than sober past and I've mostly enjoyed it. I guess it's good that the guys on guitar and drums were so much better though. Anyway, I guess I wouldn't mind learning how to play for real. Could be cool.
Pretty neat thunder and lighting storm in this part of the world last night. Power went out for about 10 minutes too. I enjoyed it.
Ate some delicious tuna and rice porridge for lunch today. Might start a language exchange with one of my co-workers sometime. No plans for the weekend, but I'm generally trying to save up my money. First full paycheck will come next week and that will be great.
