adieu!
I feel all warm and bubbly after watching the 1995 remake of Austen's Sense and Sensibility :) Ohh Austen the romantic fantasist, so unfairly planting surreal notions of love and the like into our perceptions of the matter. But then I guess it's good to experience on film (or in novels) what is impractical in reality - an escape from the burdensome inflictions of everyday life. HAha I'm so cynical. But then when you're a cynic, you also readily gain protection from disappointment, as there was no hope to begin with. Or is there? Anyways I myself prefer Elinor, and readily dubb her my idol. :)
Anyways Hong Kong in 2 days! I'm excited. I seriously cannot wait to escape Sydney, with it's whacky weather, water shortage, bugs, and other inflictions. I hope to return changed, and to find the society in which I have grown up in altered in agreeability. Or is it just me. oh and guys, don't be shocked to find me a fob when I come back because I really want to get my hair waved. LOL
