Well, that sure was a sight to wake up to! Me n' th'family'd been workin' with th' extra-special shrooms, and had a wee bit of an accident, so we missed the giant wave of water washin' over us...musta been quite a sight. We was passed out cold fer it. 'course we keep some mighty hefty air purifyin' plants in the hole wi' us, fer just sich an 'mergency, so 'ventually they cleared th' air an' we woke up. Good thing th' hole is so snug, is all I c'n say, er we'da bin drownded fer sure. 'm still shakin' from th' shock.

'course at first, we thought the fish swimmin' past th' winders were just residual hallucinations from th' shrooms, 'til we realized we was all hallucinatin' th' same thing. An' then, o' course, we couldn't get the doors open. Turns out that was a good thing, that they swing outward. Still, we was stuck inside a gigantic reverse-fishbowl.

Skeeriest thing I ever did see, 'n that 'cludes th' time that ringwraith screeched at me. I've lost about helf me puppies, the ones what were left on patrol, and most o' th' livestock 'cept fer the critters the young'uns keep smugglin' indoors wi' em. Still got th' firearms, 'course, and all the ammo stayed good an' dry.

Th' water's finally gone away, mostly. Things're soggy, but shrooms love the wet, so I predict th' shroom crop'll be gangbusters in no time. Rest o' th' crops're prolly ruined, time will tell, but shrooms don't take so long ter grow an' I had plenty o' starters indoors wi' me.

Uh...anyone wantin' ter help bring back th' ol' crops'd be right welcome. An', y'know, if ye find any o' th' animals, ye kin bring 'em home.
