Have you ever read a book that you absolutely loved? One that was written so well that you almost forgot that you were reading a story and got caught up in the fictional world? A book with characters that you felt like you actually knew, so much so that you were sad to put the book down when it was over because it was like saying good-bye to old friends?
Maybe it's just me, but that's fine. The reason that I'm bringing all of this up is because a German company is coming out with a MMORPG of one of my favorite books, by one of the best writers of all time (this statement stands no matter what anyone says to the contrary), Tad Williams' Otherland. For those of you who have never read it, read it (um, only if you like sci-fi or fantasy and really long books). For those of you who have read it, celebrate! and check it out on Tad's blog.
