Salami is a wonderful food
Sliced, fried, baked, or even stewed.
Made up from many meats, all unique
I think I just heard it speak….
It sure is great on a bun
But if it starts moving you’d best run
It’s a wonderful invention of mankind
But the ingredient list is hard to find…
Perhaps its because its so darn tasty?
Still, I say, eat it and be hasty
Whether it’s real or whether it’s fake
At any moment it could wake
A sleeping meat full of grief
Jealous of chicken, angry at beef
From a buffalo, maybe a cow?
I really hope you’ll tell me now
