[Amalthea still isn't quite sure about her new situation, but she's trying to adapt.
Dressed in a plain brown dress with tough black boots and her moonlight-white hair pulled back into a messy orange-ribboned bow, she walks outside in the early morning, carrying a clean milking pail. She's already made quiet friends with the cows in the barn, and after some times of lying in the hay thinking, she's felt most comfortable working in the barn.
The cows also took well to her. Never fussed or made any frustration for Amalthea. Very content creatures.
She's taken some chopped apples from the kitchen for a snack, and a little cheddar cheese freshly made. It's not very filling, but it will do...]
