the great state of Vermont will not apologize for its cheese
Tried to use my debit card on Friday to pay for a $3 bag of chocolate chips. It got declined. I wasn't worried because sometimes the debit card just doesn't work, but then I stopped by the bank later, on the way out of town for our anniversary trip to Vermont, and, yup, restricted because of unauthorized charges. Again.
So now I have no card and I have to spend tonight combing through my iTunes receipts (for some reason, most of the unauthorized charges were iTunes) to figure out what's mine and what's not. I bought about $15 worth of music for the trip and there were around $128 in charges. I did not spend $128 on iTunes. Bleah.
Aside from that, the trip to Vermont was lovely. We went hiking and futzed around Putney and Brattleboro and stocked up on beer and wine and cider, and also underwear, because the Hanes outlet was having a sale.
I can't believe it's been eight years (wedding) and sixteen years (dating). Crazy. Life is good.
