My father, my mother, my Jake, and Forrest have been here continuously. Erin, Michelle and Krista have been here regularly. Others have asked about stoppng by and I've been resistant. For the most part here's how things are working:
Forrest wanders into the living room for a little bit. Then wonders off for some alone time in his room.
I sit around my computer and alternate between being calm and breaking down.
Everyone else sits around and stares at me trying desperately to figure out what to say, and having conversations amongst themselves which I only hear about a third of.
It's exciting, no?
Anyway, I've reached a point that if anyone else wants to stop by, they're welcome. Don't expect much in terms of entertainment or even interaction with me, but you are welcome.
Please understand I'm not encouraging you to come by. I wouldn't want anyone to feel like they needed to come by for any reason. It won't be fun and we have everything that we need in terms of food, drink, etc. I the one thing I most want, of course, I can't have. However, if you have some burning desire to do so, I'm ready to allow it.
