A Friend In Dire Need
This is a rare, public post, because I'm asking that very question myself and it's not me that needs all the friends possible, it's my friend Shewolf.
Thur and Fri have been the hardest on her and shows no signs of getting any better. In her words: "The shit that goes on is enuf to make you want to cry...like I did...LOTS. I need to grasp some form of stability before I find myself curled up in a ball on the floor shaking like a whipped puppy and bawling for hours." She went on to give a detailed account of the most recent incident in her latest LJ post. Sadly, at a time when she needs all the support she can get, less than a handful replied. Isn't interesting that when you're on top of the world, you get loads of replies, but should you end up in the situation she's in right now, only SIX (At this time) people reply to offer support and try to raise her spirit.
Right now, I could care less that it's supposed to be a festive time of year. Worrying about a friend who is hanging on literally by a fingernail is my priority. There are a lot of people on my friends list, who are also on hers, but most have not replied.
