So much going on right now its a bit overwhelming. Cant believe that Alden will be 4 months old on Friday. He is sitting here on my lap babbling away and playing with my arm. He is amazing. I dont have any other word to describe him, and amazing doesnt even cut it. He is the best baby (and I'm not just saying that because he is my baby). He sleeps 11-12 hours through the night, during the day he only cries when he is hungry, or has people stuffing their faces in his - he likes his space from everyone except Nick and me. He is growing so fast, already in 6-9 month clothing and super strong. Again, he is just amazing.

Nick has a broken back, going on 6 weeks now I think it is. He isnt allowed to pick up baby, so I have to pick him up and place him in Nicks arms once he is on the couch. Definitely a challenge not having his help there, but we are making it work. I love having him home with me. Its pretty much like its always the weekend. Our biggest challenge is deciding what to do. Well, that was our biggest chellange until Saturday. Of course, the one and only time Nick would get someone else to change the oil in the new car, it gets fucked up. They go and put the wrong oil filter on it. One week later, as we are driving down the road wondering what the smell is, I realize that the weird noise I was hearing wasnt part of the song so we pulled over. Nick takes a look under the hood and the oil filter is gone, oil is splattered everywhere on the motor and what little was left in the motor was making a nice puddle on the ground. Now we are dealing with Mr. Lube trying to get our car fixed and I'm just getting more stressed every time Nick talks to them. At first they seemed to really want to make things right, but now it just seems like they are trying to hose us and its really frustrating. We have been pretty laid back about this from the beginning, just wanting our car fixed by the right people, but they are making it difficult. They want to fix it, but that will screw up our warranty, then they say they will give us a warranty, but I dont want a Mr. Lube warranty, I want the warranty that we forked out $2000 for from the dealership. Ah I am getting frustrated just typing about it so I wont babble any more. Lets just say we will never go to Mr. Lube again!

To add to it, we are looking at buying a fixer-upper mobile home so we need to decide really soon if that is what we want as there are apparently other people interested. Is it worth the money we will be putting into it? I'm leaning towards yes, but I guess we will just need to discuss it more.
