I hardly know what to say right now

My uncle had a heart attack

Eric Snellings, married my dads oldest sister, Monica. They adopted 2 beautiful children Fernando and Maria from Ecuador. They live in Washington DC.

His chances of surviving are about as slim as possible for him to have actually survived the attack.

This is the closest that any sort of tragedy has hit my family.

I missed the initial call from my aunt with the news, and after playing 3 hours of volleyball picked up my phone noticing the 5+ calls from my family, then I checked my messages and was hit with the news. I called my aunt to get as much news as I could on the issue. i still don't know alot, but my dad, and his two other sisters are going to head to DC tomorrow to be with their older sister and her family in case the worst happens.

I really am confused right now. I don't know what role I should play, I called my little cousin and told her I was praying for her and to be strong, all while being choked up by the tears. I don't want to start thinking negatively, but I'm glad I got the chance to see Eric and his whole family this summer.

I couldn't have been with better people when I got the news. I asked Antony, Aaron, Matt, and Josh to come over and I told them what happened, and Antony pulled a rosary out of his car and we said a quick decade there in the parking lot. They will never know just how much that meant to me.

Not many people read this, I just want to put my thoughts down, cause I really am at a loss of what else TO do. But those few of you that may glance at this, please pray for my uncle and his family, that whatever may happen, it's what's meant to be and that our family can recover from such a damaging blow.
