...Well.

Now that everything appears to be back to normal, I suppose it would be fair to, ah, share our findings?

[In the background, there's the high--so high it's almost above human hearing--whine of a television. There's also a little static, and a man's voice that might be recognizable if one strained their ears.]

Mmm, not especially. Kage's too smart to let you know it's important by kicking up a fuss, and the others follow his lead.

[His gaze flicks to Razer's, a canny gleam in his eye.]

That they haven't commented at all certainly means they don't want us to think it's important, so of course it is. Unfortunately, forewarned is fore-armed, so we won't be hearing a peep from them on the matter until they steal the tape back... if even then.

[Erol tests the edge of his blade, then frowns and reaches to his side on the mattress for a much-loved knife sharpener.]

On the plus, Kusanagi now thinks you're incapable of anything more cunning than "Ding Dong Ditch..." which places you smack in her blind spot.

[Batou's commanding officer had to be caught off-guard when it was time for a move against the cyborg. The less prepared either of them were for genuine strategy coming from the pointy objects brigade, the better.

It was an expensive gambit, but Erol cared little for the secrets of the boat at this point. He wanted revenge, and he wanted fun. The ripples caused by Razer's "reveal" were promising for both.]

As much as I dislike being considered below anyone's estimation of formidable, it is a good position to hold. For the moment.

[He sets his comm down to get a cigarette, lighting up and taking a drag before turning and offering the same cigarette to Erol. The intimacy of the action won't be lost on the Commander and he knows it, but no words regarding it are necessary.

He took care of that quite enough over the last week, thank you. If he never says "I love you" again it will be far, far too soon.]

Mostly, I'm curious how to crew will handle every passenger I can get one to having a copy. It won't be easy to clean up after this delectable little mess.

[Erol takes the cigarette. He's not a smoker - having learned when he was young that too much bothered his lungs, and he refused to tolerate shortness of breath - but he will always accept Razer's offer. Turning over the multiple elements of the situation in his head, Erol hands the cigarette back and slowly breathes out the smoke.]

I'd have thought more people would figure out that secrecy is in Redd's favor, not ours. It's the reverse of Haven - he's the one with the propaganda, and the more people have classified information the harder it is for him to maintain his cover story.

Ah well, their loss.

[Erol shrugs, an odd gesture with his head resting upside-down on the edge of the mattress. Again, he doesn't really care about information warfare regarding the boat anymore. It got boring.]

If you distribute it widely enough, it won't be possible to clean up at all... Mmm, barring a ship-wide memory wipe courtesy of the Captain.

[That would be annoying, but Erol doesn't for a minute put it past Redd's capabilities. The benefit of doing so must not outweigh the effort... or perhaps the effort involved would be dangerous? It's useless to speculate and there's nothing they can do about it if Redd takes that step, so it's not worth including in their calculations.]
