...Do you people actually believe this?

Makers, and I thought the Mar and Precursor legends were overbearing.

[Pauses to clear his throat quietly.]

"There an angel of the Lord appeared to him from a burning bush. Moses saw that the bush was on fire, but it was not burning up. 'This is strange!' he said to himself."

[Pause.]

...No, really?

Many people have different view points on what they believe, Razer. What to you may seem 'dumb', to others may seem normal.

Though approaching something on fire does seem rather silly.

Approaching something on fire is idiotic. Believing a religion led by the type of person who would approach a fire just because they found it "strange" goes far beyond idiocy.

From this, I am uncertain these people ever actually met their god properly. It is bizarre.

[She can't help but laugh, really.]

Yes, but many people need something to believe in, and perhaps had nothing better to follow?

Oh? And have you met the god of your world, Razer?

Not me personally, no.

[Daxter doesn't count, no matter what he may spout.]

But plenty of others have. Recently, even. What would be the point in believing them if no one had ever met them?

[Pause.]

Not that I particularly cared for them to begin with, but that is beside the point. It is rather clear that they exist.

I do not know, but many seem to do so, throughout many different worlds.

[Hmm...]

What if I were to tell you of a world that has no true Gods; what would you say to that?

I would say good for them, good luck, and wonder how they managed to exist.

My people are as such, and still we exist.

[You entertain her, Razer. Not many people talk of such subjects.]

Our ancestors serve as our 'idols', and yet they are long dead and powerless. Gods are not always needed to sustain balance.

Ours didn't even finish our planet, and they really do not do much these days. I don't believe they did much to begin with, except for the basic creation.

[Pause.]

Well, and the language. Supposedly the first Sages were touched by the Precursors as well, but as there aren't any left to say I can't very well be certain of that. Regardless, it was just...basic things. Rudimentary things.

Something had to create your ancestors; whether they stayed around to make themselves known or moved on is the difference.

Your God's sound lazy indeed, though at least they bothered to do as much as they did?

[She laughs.]

Or perhaps, we created ourselves, or rather the magic we wield gave birth to us. We faeries are not alike other species in many ways, after all~

[Or so they've always been taught; she's simply drawing on lessons.]
