[Razer is sitting in an armchair, his comm obviously set on the coffee table in front of him. There's a cigarette in his hand, held between two fingers, but he's simply switching it slowly back and forth, drawing subtle patterns of smoke in the air. He's also smiling. This...probably isn't a good thing.]
Greetings, fellow passengers of this, our glorious ship, the Elegante.
[If one looks, in the background they should be able to see that his television is on, with several other machines rigged up to it by various tangled wires and jury-rigged ports.]
It's taken some time, but I finally finished a little gift for everyone.
Knowledge is power, so they say, and I know so many of you feel utterly powerless here, so many of you are too new to know much of anything.
Normally I'm not particularly interested in sharing power, but this time...well, I suppose I'm feeling philanthropic.
[Throaty chuckle.]
Check the hall, hm?
[That smile turns into a smirk, his eyes narrow, and his voice drops to a predatory whisper.]
Enjoy.
[He finally brings his everpresent cigarette to his mouth, takes a drag, and then the feed cuts out on its own. Timing is everything.]
[[ooc: Congratulations, Elegante! Razer has spent the last several weeks on hiatus because his mun is fail pirating the video. Oh yes, the older players remember.
THAT video. He has since taken a tally of all the active passenger quarters, and spent the entirety of last night leaving a copy on the veritable doorstep of every. Single. One. Except those who already got copies before, and a very slim margin that he outright missed because he isn't aware of their existence.
The copies come in various forms; DVDs, VHS cassettes, miniDVs, etc. Any format that video can be transferred to and played on a television (with or without an adapter), Razer has utilized because he wasn't very well going to go to the trouble of finding enough blanks in one format when it's easier just to put together a rig that ran several at the same time.
If you do not want your character to see this wonderful display of the Captain's heartwarming bedside manner, feel free to have them ignore the "gift," or be one of the few Razer missed!
...I've been planning this for months, FYI, and it should have happened a while ago but I failed hardcore at everything ever SO WE CAN DO IT NOW. Razer's in it to be a bastard make everyone hate the crew and/or Captain, and see all those brilliant reactions. He's a patient man, though, so do take your time watching.]]
