I had lot of fun doing this. When I started planning it, I did a quick composition study with Photoshop. I knew how I wanted to draw it but I wasn't sure it would look like I wanted it to look and I was really happy when it turned exactly like I wanted.
I worked 3 weeks on this, doing a little bit everyday un til yesterday when I finished it. The real picture looks way better (I'm not really good at setting scanner and the scan turned out a little bit too bright and I failed to fix it up on photoshop. I tried to take pictures of it but they didn't turned great at all so I didn't use them) and is 25*150cm/10*59inches. (I'm 5'3'').
Here is a bit more explanation about what's on the picture:
ETA: 'lou castéou' means castel! I don't know what I was thinking when I thought it means something like to kill etc...
Nota bene: the Occitan language include different dialects, which I didn't know before I wrote some on my drawing. But anyway, this is fiction right? I'm allowed some mistakes as long as I know them and don't deny them right? Right? é.è
