Mom

It's so true when they say you become your mom when you grow up.
Acutally,  a lot of things that people told me (and annoyed the crap out of me at the same time) are coming to be true.
I know... I know....  now they're all saying... "told ya so...  told ya...     PUNCH!

Anyway, I can't pinpoint exactly when this started to happen because I didn't acknowledge it's happening until just recently. But my sister and I used to make fun of my mom for the amount of "under" clothes she wore. Always  had to have some kind of undershirt, even in the summer... be it a tank top or camisole, it was always there. And in the winter, some kind of "under" pants pants. If you know what cuddleduds are, that was the kind of thing she wore under jeans or slacks.  And they came up to your neck. So there were no breaks in her underclothes... the pants pants came up to her neck, and the undershirt came down past her seat. No chance of a skin flash or even a slight chill.

The other day I was getting dressed and realized I was out of clean under tanks.  I was upset, and almost wore a dirty one because I couldn't bear the thought of going out of the house without one on.  I said to myself... "oh, I'm going to be so uncomfortable. I may even feel a draft of air sneak up the back of my shirt and oh the horror of it all."  And it was then it hit me that I've become my mother.
