mood: rejuvenated
music: Fleet Foxes --oh the way they weave sounds together... Thursday I went for a sonogram... actually we'll say it was two sonograms because I had an innie and an outie... (probably didn't need to include that tidbit) hahahaha...
So I woke up, edited a bunch of pics of my neice and nephews from memorial day... then went off to my appointment...
only to hear from one of the nurses: "Hmmm.... you don't have an appt. here till June bleh bleh bleh..."
WHAT! Turns out I went to the wrong office.... DAMN IT! I actually almost cried right there coz I was looking forward to see the little miss and I'd also was taking work hours to be there... SO! The thought of wasting more money and time to reschedule was highly irritating.
I mean, ultimately my fault but.... why does my doctor have ten different offices! And I swear the one I went to was the one they wrote on my appt card... which I of course can't find right now to verify!
But whatever ... she called over to the office I was supposed to be at to see if I could still be seen.
"Can you get there in 10-15 minutes?"
"No... goin' through downtown freehold will take at least 20!" I didn't say that. I actually just said, "Sure!" haha...
So off we went. Decided to leave on car there so D could drive us there faster than me and him both getting there seperately...
I figured, even if I didn't make it in 15 (which I didn't), they would take me because I was there.
I ended up having to wait a bit because ya know... people that were actually there at the right time and place got priority... ha... but it was ok. They weren't mean to me about it. They were very nice. I apologized a few times... actually, probably just two times but... that was enough I thought.
So I got my sonograms... and I got a whole slew of pics... ha...
we watched her scratch her nose... put her fingers in her mouth... yawn, mover her eyes around... ha...
The nurse said she could feel her punching her hand when she was trying to move her head out of the way...
Oh so cute!

Then I went back in the waiting room and waited for my consultation with the doctor.
When we did meet with him, he confirmed that the placenta has moved away so it's not blocking the way to earth anymore! YAY! ha ha!
So anyway, I was later to work than I wanted to be, but I still got in half of the day job and all of the night job.
