An Assistant?

I've been batting around the idea of hiring someone on to help me stay on task for awhile now.

I feel silly sometimes because there are so many things that distract me and take me off track. I thought for the longest time it was because I'm unorganized and have a hard time focusing. After long talks with people who know me very closely and even those who don't the vote seems to be that I'm simply a very VERY busy woman. Which is not a bad thing, to be honest, it's actually a good thing! If I could just get a little help I could become a very VERY busy SUCCESSFUL woman.

The trouble is finding someone who:
 a) I trust
b) who will take the job seriously
c) not cost an arm and a leg.

I've been kind of narrowing the list of what would help, what someone else could do for me, and I think I have it down to these:

1) Help organize the incoming commissions - be able to keep records of who I owe what to and when they need it by
2) Remind me/ keep me on task - phone calls or emails ("Hey, how is McCloud's commission coming? He's anxious to hear back from you on your progress!" or something... which seems lame but man would it keep me focused.)
3) Help me keep track of deadlines - both on commissions and school projects/ activities ("Farelle, the Student Council meeting is tomorrow at 11am!")
4) Help prioritize things a little - So many important things to do weighing them out becomes very difficult!

And I think that's where I'd like to start. I think the person would have to be over 18 yrs., though, because I sometimes do adult work.

I think I could offer the following compensation: 1 arts by me for assist. per month, $10 every month (which I'd love to bump to $20-30 if I could) and $2-5 per commission they help me complete or 10% which ever is greater. I took about 14 commissions last month, so there was the possibility of someone earned about $38-$80 there and that was a slow month as I just took fandom commissions. I usually pull a few mural/ illustration/ non-fandom commissions in per month which is where the larger money is.

I dunno... maybe this is a retarded idea but OMG would it help me out...

Is this silly?

I have to think on this one some more. It seems odd because I'm usually so tight on money to think of hiring help but I swear if I had a tiny bit of help I'd be making more money as I could take on/ COMPLETE more arts.

*thinks*
