Excerpt from: A Fair of Change
After class, Brittany turned to Kevin. “Babe, this is very important to me. The Cadbury Tales are, like, classic, and I think I'd be great in the play. Just do the audition with me,” she said. She hoped that he had learned his lesson from the Coffee House back in the Fall.

North America
Scandinavian Territories
Scandinavian colonists continue to arrive in Vinland. Many families begin to farm in the area where archaeological evidence of Leif Erikson’s settlement would be discovered over a century and half later.
Even without that evidence the authorities hype up the connection. A settlement in the area is named after Erikson.

Christiania continues to grow in population.

A census shows that German is the most popularly spoken first language in Dalmarven.

French
The remaining French territories are still underpopulated compared to the other colonised regions.

British
These colonies are also growing.

Spanish
Mississippi is growing, in population as well as in industrial development. A few chemists experiment with the recently invented electric pile.

The Confederation of the Rockies is calm, but some tribes are uncertain as to what the future holds for them.

In New Madrid, there are some who want more self-determination for the Viceroyalty of New Spain. The numbers grow slowly through the year.

South America
Border skirmishes occur between Spanish and Scandinavian colonists in the area where their claims overlap.

Neither the United States nor Russia suspected that Earth was being observed from space. 'Good,' she thought.

“Brave Heart, Tegan.”

Nyssa stepped out of the TARDIS first. A small town spread out in front of her. “This place seems tense.”

“It just looks normal,” Tegan considered.

“It's something I'm picking up on,” Nyssa said.

“Living on the edge of London with a few friends, travelling in on the Tube. I’m wondering if the people in this Outback town have it easier.”

“Outback?”

2 University Arrival
“Really?” Elysia asked.

“There are introductory notes at the beginning, it seems.”

She got some breakfast and went to sit down. “Happy Birthday.

“How was today?”

3 Brocklethwaite
“I don't mind a few dents, but change the radio station and you're a dead man,” he said to the valet.

“Mel!” his brother, Ross called out. “How delightful. I thought you weren’t coming.”

“I wasn't, but I thought if you two could put aside years of bitterness and resentment, then so can I... for a day,” Mel responded.
