Rewatch. The tale of how an eight year old boy in a wealthy suburb of Chicago gets left home alone over Christmas while his family goes to France, and then has to defend his house from a couple of easily-outwitted burglars. Kevin’s resourcefulness is portrayed very well, as the desperation of his mother, Kate, to get home to be with him. The characterisation of the two bumbling villains was also done quite well. 9.0/10.
