“Jane Lane. Late!”
Jane grumbled. She knew Miss Morris had it in for her family. She was certain that was one reason why Penny had gone off grid.

He started looking for her.
‘Just because people are snotty and cliquey is no reason not to like them,’ Quinn thought as she located Sandi and Tori talking near one of the ceramic tigers. She was sure she had overheard someone say that they were great!
“Quinn?”
She turned and saw Joey. She may have sent Jeffy and the other one away, but not him. “Yes, Joey?”
“Would you like a dance?”
“Not yet. But you can get me some crisps.”
“Sure!”
Daria watched Jamie leave. “Quinn’s already causing trouble!”
“I’ll tell Andrea,” Donna responded.
“Good.”
Donna quickly found Andrea.

Twenty minutes later, Quinn and the Doctor approached the source of the energy reading. “It seems like a normal night,” the Doctor commented, although he knew that could change quickly.
Quinn looked around. “You’re right. It has to be in one of the buildings.”
“Are you up for that?”
“Of course.”
“Right,” he said as he led the way towards an abandoned café.
Daria saw Quinn and the Doctor approach the building which had housed the school’s ill-fated attempt at a coffeehouse a year earlier. ‘Of course, the Doctor is going to break in!’ As much as she and Quinn didn’t get along, she didn’t want Quinn to get in trouble with the law if things went south. So, she quickly followed.

The Enterprise warp drive breaks again, forcing them to sublight.

Scott having made more repairs; the Enterprise continues on its way at Warp 4.
