“Uh oh!” Crichton said when he returned to the security section.
“What?” Daria asked.
“Kyle to Morgendorffer. We have company! Deck 3, Section 12.”
“Boarders!” Crichton said. “But at least with the shields up, no more would be coming.”
The turbolift door opened, admitting Winfrey onto the Bridge. “Who are these others?” he asked.
“Bald, and green,” Crichton answered. He turned back to Daria. “The boarders can be contained.”
“Orions! We've been boarded by Orions?” Windows said in fear.
“Yes!” Daria answered. “How can they be contained?”
“Forcefields in the corridors. In both The Next Generation and Voyager, Picard and Janeway used forcefields to contain boarding forces,” Crichton answered.
On Deck 3, the boarding concubines were taken by surprise by the 'unorthodox' combat methods of Conan and Selina Kyle. Three of them had already been disabled.
Daria considered what Crichton had just said. “Computer, show tactical of boarding situation on Deck Three on Screen.”
“Affirmative.”
The tactical display that Daria requested appeared. “Display locations of corridor forcefield generators.”
“Affirmative.”
The boarding force was near the corridor to the front airlock, while Catwoman and the Cimmerian were further into the ship. But they were in the same section. They needed help...
Daria turned to Crichton.
“You don't need to ask. I can handle myself. I have fought Peacekeeper boarders. Frell, I've fought Scarrans. I can stand against these guys.”
“Go, quickly,” Daria said, reluctantly.
Crichton left the bridge quickly.
Still, Daria decided to give Conan and Catwoman a chance before Crichton could get to the location. “Computer, activate forcefields in that area, but allow Crichton a route in,” she said.
“Affirmative.”
The forcefields activated, separating most of the boarding force from Conan and Kyle.
