Excerpt from Galactic Trouble

She handed the electrical paper back to the Professor. “Now get out of here!”

“We’re on our way right now,” the Professor said.

The three re-entered the Galactic Ranger.
“So Finn?” Seamus asked.

“Yes,” the Professor answered.

Excerpt from: Daria: Mysteries of Lawndale 03 - Night of the Coffee House

“No, Kevin, I mean how did the theft make you feel?”

“Um... Sad?” Kevin said in confusion.

‘You’re definitely asking the wrong person,’ Daria thought. It was no mystery why Kevin was the way he was. He had been hit on the head too many times out on the field.

“Are you asking me or telling me?” O’Neil prompted.

“Angry?” Kevin asked.

The teacher decided to ask someone else. “Jodie, how about you?”

“I think the cybercafé served one very particular segment of the community but it pisses me off when people take what isn’t theirs,” Jodie Landon answered.

“That’s how I feel!” Kevin interjected.

“Thank you, Kevin, Jedie,” O’Neil said. “About that word, ‘Community.’”

Daria may not have been in Lawndale long, but she knew where this was going ‘uh oh!’

Excerpt from: Quinn's Code (Daria AU) 16 The Geek's Expose

“Oh...” Helen began, but she was interuppted by the doorbell ringing again. Kristen twirlled around and opened the door. It was Stacy.

“Oh, my, Quinn. It's going to a lovely day,” she said in a southern accent.

Helen knew that something was planned. “You watched Gone with the Wind last night didn't you?” she asked Stacy.

“Why? How did you get that impression?” Stacy asked, still in character. It was just as well that they had planned for many eventualities. (Of course it also meant that she had to fast forward a lot of the movie...)

“I can tell,” Helen said. She looked towards Cindy and Kristen. Cindy was choreographing a battle in which she had played through in Baldur's Gate. “Oh, my!”

“This is great footage,” Jane whispered as she filmed the display.

Daria rolled her eyes.

The antics continued for a short while longer.

Soon, after breakfast, they were all ready to go to school. Helen took the four friends aside in the kitchen. “Are you going to continue your antics at school?”

“Of course!” Quinn said.

“Absolutely!” Stacy said.

Helen looked at the other two. “I see you are adament on causing trouble?”

“Trouble, Mrs. Morgendorffer? I don't think so,” Cindy said.

“I promise, there won't be a call from Ms. Li about it,” Quinn added.

Helen wasn't really convinced. “I'm certain that I'll hear something about it,” she said. She then murmured. “Just not from Ms. Li.”

She then took the other three aside. “Just to be sure, that you aren't going to stirr up Quinn?”

“Mom, Quinn seems rather stirred up to me,” Daria pointed out.

“I give you that, but you know she has planned this. Something may happen.”

“Worry not,” Daria said in a monotone. “I have a plan too.”

“A plan to humiliate?” Helen asked.

Helen sighed.

Soon the seven left the house. “How are we getting to school?” Daria asked.

“We're walking,” Quinn said.

“We all can't fit in Jen's Beetle,” Kristen added.

“Well we could, but it would be tight squeeze!” Stacy said.
