Ive been waiting for this for a long time, just something to happen. I try to write every night to my pops anyway so i might as well do it here i guess. I dont live at home any more. I dont have a real job, and im broke but im having fun and hopefully my money situation will change soon. Im going to Rhinebeck NY this weekend for a vintage motorcycle show to spread the word about the drag strip. Next wednesday night i leave for Los Angeles for five days and for the LA roadster show, one of the biggest car shows in the world. Me and Mel are going to sleep in Old Crow Speed Shop, our friends' garage and he is going to pick up his 22 roadster and we are gonna cruise that around the city and take it to the show. Im hoping to meet up with the Burbank Choppers CC who we are gonna fly out to our track next month, it will be cool if they could show us around and stuff. We are meeting with a bunch of other cool people as well and it should turn out to be the trip of a lifetime. I am so ready for some palm trees! and im glad to be off doing my own thing for once and i feel good... I hang out and paint signs, make stuff happen at the strip, work on cars from time to time, meet lots of cool people... I was just hanging out at Bill Dodge's shop again today. Im trying to get back into art and guitar but im so beat at the end of the day, itll happen though... hopefully soon we will actually start building the car for the english bloke because that is half the reason im sticking around far from home!
