I just worked a thirteen hour overnight Retail Black Friday shift, and the only thing that got me through it was knowing once I got home I would get to watch The Christmas Cottage.

I completely understand. I had a 13-hr. shift myself. Black Friday gets more and more insane every year. I'm just waiting until we're all open all day on Thursday...

I've never seen that movie. It sounds good though. I'll have to check it out later.

I called this year last year. Last year, we were originally going to open at midnight, and then Toys R'Us made their jump to 10:30 and then Walmart jumped to 10 something and we freaked out so we jumped to 9 PM and I said to everyone the day of and after "You watch, 6 PM next year." My store opened at 8 PM, but Walmart hit my prediction dead on. I'm calling for 4 PM next year for Walmart and 6 PM for my store. I just pray by that time next year I'm NOT in retail.

Do see this movie. It is a treat and full of beautiful emotion. Jared is just outstanding in it.
