Relatively productive?
Got to the meeting, talked to him, we're meeting again on Monday at 11AM for any final questions. I should be going to MEPS either Wed-Thurs or Thurs-Fri. Then it's just a matter of time.
I found out that regardless, 4 or 6 year enlistments are a total of an 8 year commitment; 4 years active then 4 years inactive reserve, or 6 years active and 2 years inactive reserve.
I'm going to shoot for the six years, solely because with a 6 year commitment you end up getting pay grade E-3 after finishing tech school (or after 30 weeks) in which case that's a huge jump in pay. Essentially, it's an extra 200 or so per month. Considering either way I have to work 4 years, that's 9600 over 4 years. That's alot of extra money in pocket.
I then went to MCCC and got my transcript to give to him. Gonna fax a request to RIT whenever I get the chance, probably sometime this weekend.
