Wow! I knew I would receive my story from you, somehow I came to this guess!!! :) THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! It was simply wonderful and I want to review it thoroughly, so this is going to be one looong comment! :)

First of all, Alexa, don't worry about fulfilling or not fulfilling my original request, this is really the last thing that matters! I know what I had asked for, but I don't regretted it at all that you chose to give me *more* than that: your fic is a healthy dose of Faramir/Eowyn het (and quality het!!!) PLUS a really inteligently-written study of my favourite LotR character! I'm very grateful to your Muse for this! :)

I mean, this fic had *everything*. From deep introspection to sweet F/E moments, from Faramir opening up to Aragorn to him learning to cope with the pain of loosing his brother... *Everything*! Even Shakespeare quotes at the beginning of each part!! :) What more could I possibly ask for? :)

"Capture Faramir's voice"? Trust me, you did it very, very well! You Faramir is *extremely* Faramir - the complex character that we all love! I really like your characterization, and how you showed that the two sorrows he had (his past griefs and the separation from Eowyn) are not independent, but are intermingled in a most natural way in his heart! Very realistic! I loved the rich inner life that you show him to have, this is really *the* Faramir I love!! :)

I really like your Faramir & Aragorn moments! (I don't put a / between their names to avoid slashy implications...) Aragorn is my second favourite character and you portraied his so well here! The somehow fatherly affection he has for Faramir, his understanding and the way he want his Steward to open up to him are really in character, do great job!

I definitely enjoy stories with strong, confident Faramir, but angsty!Faramir is a pleasure to read from time to time, especially when it is so well-written as yours! You managed to discuss deep wounds in his soul and yet didn't turn him into a weeping wreck! Excellently done here as well!

The het moments... *sigh* Well, I'm really satisfied, it was the exact tender affection that I always imagined between the two of them! Your description of their relationship is very believable and it perfectly fills the gap between "the whirlwind romance" and their "happily ever after". I haven't seen many stories to tackle this precise moment, and you did it beautifully, so THANK YOU for this!

I really liked the dynamics between the two of them in the second part, they feel comfortable in each other's presence and their love seems somehow... natural and very appropriate. Speaking of propriety, I suely like to believe the two of them had a long, restfull, peacefull *sleep* after Faramir's nightmare... :D

You didn't develop Eowyn's character too much, but, as she was, she fitted perfectly in the general story! The fact that she is seen entirely from Faramir's perspective makes it even better!

Imrahil's appearance was really enjoyable as well, I like him, and the caring uncle figure the fandom has created for him works well with me! Poor Faramir really needs someone close, so I'm glad you made the Prince look after his nephew! :)

Finally, the underlying theme of Fate and the "irony of life" makes us really think about it all... (including in real life, not just the fandom!) I for one was really miserable (due to personal issues) before reading this fanfic, and even if it didn't make my own problems go away, it *did* put my mind off them for a moment and made me feel better! Thank you for this!

So, all in all, I love your story for so many reasons... Can't really believe you actually wrote this *for me*.... :) I can't thank you enough!!

Awwwww, thank you so very much!
It just makes me so happy that you enjoyed it, as I was a little worried that there wasn't enough Faramir and Eowyn :)

Lulz, I have a special fondness for angsty!Faramir, but I still want him to be the strong character he is, so I'm relieved you think I found that balance! I'm glad, too, you like Aragorn that much--I love exploring the (platonic :P) relationship between Aragorn and Faramir almost as much as I love writing Faramir and Eowyn!

I'm also happy you enjoyed Imrahil's cameo--he's my favorite book character that didn't make it into the movies!

I am just thrilled to death that you enjoyed this so much--thank you so very much for your kind, thoughtful words! ♥!
