30 Jan 2006 After the first encounter with Shelly and Dr. McKay, Faramir has run into Buffy and they end up at his place and he forgets everything but Buffy for a while. Then emo's out and later shouts his love from the trees. (Link to Faramir's journal.)
Meets very briefly King Edmund, who wishes to deal with things on his own. Faramir will not press a king.
Again sees Shelly (Six). Things start off all right, but end badly. If he knew that they'd already killed off most of the people from twelve worlds, he'd feel even worse.
Realising how foolish his disagreement with Dr. McKay was, Faramir goes to make amends. He finds out a bit more about McKay and actually gets help finding books this time. McKay seems pleased that someone is actually listening to him.
A bit of a talk with Susan about archery.
First, non-disastrous meeting with Leoben. fishing
Praises Anakin's sword skills.
Faramir sword-trains alone, then with Eowyn then gets himself knocked flat by Buffy. Ouch.
He goes for eats and medicinal hot springs while she trains and comes to visit him later. They discuss his current reading and Faramir makes Buffy forget all about her dream about Constantine. Faramir feels like a manly man when he's with Buffy.
Meets a soldier, Madmartigan, and shares meat with him.
Has a second absolutely disastrous meeting with Leoben. Mutual hatred, I think. How much hatred? Well, when Crichton lets Leoben shoot his gun...
