1. What do you think you can do but can't?
I keep thinking that since I know that my father does truly care that I can put his harsh words behind me. Every time I am so sure that I will no longer question...
2. What's a difficult word for you to pronounce?
Mindolluin, which is the name of the most eastern of the White Mountains, from which Minas Tirith was made. It's not a terribly difficult word so I do not know why that I have to stop and think nearly every time before I say it.
3. What is a favorite TV show from your childhood?
What?
4. What are your virtues and vices?
I'd like to think that one of my greatest virtues is honesty. I also try to do my best always and remember that not everyone has had the advantages I have.
My greatest vice is self-doubt.
5. What's more important: love, fame, power, or money?
I can only say love. There are so many types of love--for country and family as well as what most people think of, the romantic sort. Love can overshadow lack of other things.
6. If you could live in any era/time period, when would it be and why?
I do not know about living then, but I would like to have met any number of my ancestors. Perhaps Hurin of Emyn Arnen himself. That is not terribly long ago--perhaps 1600 years or so.
7. If you had to redo your entire wardrobe with 2 stores, what would they be and why?
I do not care much about my clothing but most of it is made for me. So one tailor and I'd need an armourer also.
8. Can you recall what you were doing a year ago on this day?
Not exactly, though it is much the same as today. I work at the library and then largely as I please. Most likely I did some form of exercise in the morning, with or without the presence of Olore.
9. Do you have reoccurring dreams? If so, explain?
I have had any number of them. The oldest is a dream of a great wave. I stand at the edge of a cliff and it comes, so dark. It engulfs all the land and there is nothing to be done about it.
10. What's your horoscope?
What? There are several different ways of... well, I do not really believe in any of them and I was not born on Earth so perhaps they would not be valid anyway.
11. What does your dream bedroom look like?
I never really thought about it. I suppose that is something my wife and I will one day decide.
12. What position do you sleep in?
Most often on my back.
13. Who is your favorite vampire of all time?
I do not have one.
14. What are you currently wearing on your feet?
I wear boots with socks under them.
