25 Feb--Gets a visit from
Boromir at the library. They make peace after the Glaurnaneth fight--Boromir and Sugar are going to have a baby. (A son.) w00t!
26 Feb--Speaks with
Mona Stangley at the front desk about a number of subjects, including politics. Her no-nonsense ways are comfortable for Faramir, even if he doesn't understand all of her expressions.
29 Feb--
Nightmares in Room 150. FU Freddy Kreuger.
4 March--After the
Freddy dreams on Leap Day, Faramir hauls himself out to let the police know. On the way he meets
Kilrenko, (introduces herself as Moira) who puts together the information about Faramir's cuts with Freddy--it was his glove that made them. She has Freddy information.
He goes on to the PD and speaks to
Horatio Caine, who isn't pleased that Freddy's back. Faramir offers to assist since he's not particularly worried about Freddy.
4 March--Sees
Felicia in the park. He's never seen the man in drag before. They talk a bit about Boromir and Sugar's child--Felicia is to be godmother. It seems Calum is wanting children too, more than just Colin and Benji. Baby boom?
8 March--The arrival of
The Doctor (Five) in his TARDIS. Faramir is confused and thinks that perhaps Doctor is a designation of Time Lords (he's met Ten, on the island.) He finds this Doctor much less of a bastard than the other he met. Gives information on the village and speaks of things such as women's ages (in relation to Duchess Polgara) and tea. (Likely also in relation to Duchess Polgara.) At least the Doctor is not panicking about anything and isn't really in a rush to leave. Cool.
11 March--Encounters
Xena sharpening her sword in the park. He's got his wooden practice swords. They speak of how they seem older than modern counterparts--they have to grow up faster. This is in relation to Shasta and how much he's learned and changed in a year. And how he knows that Faramir's just a person now who makes mistakes. They speak of Faramir's mistake and what he might have to do, and what makes a monster anyway?
12 March--Is in the clinic seeking out Dr. McCoy (who has left the village). Encounters
Jack O'Neill instead. Jack was trashed by Ba'al and Lara Raith, and wants to get out of the clinic. Faramir won't help him if he really needs to be there (he does.) Jack wants to leave really badly and tries to get up. Faramir hauls him back to bed. And yes, there are hangovers in Gondor.
13 March--Sees
Glaurnaneth working on her reading. She hasn't been studying so much and he hasn't been helping as much. This will change. They also agree that both need to get out more. And Faramir thinks the succession is weird in Glaurnaneth's lands. The oldest son does not necessarily inherit--the queen's new husband does if she outlives the king. Weird.
17 March--Walk-by in the library.
Draco is doing some studying there, likely to be there early and often. Faramir acknowledges this and says that Draco can eat and drink--subtly--in the library as long as he doesn't make a mess.
19 March--Goes for food in the cafe and runs into
Lara Raith outside. She's not wearing much and he first thinks... she must be cold. (Nerd.) They have a long talk about many things he wouldn't normally discuss with ladies, like politics. He knows she's involved in some way at home. It's not like he can't tell she's beautiful, it's more like he doesn't pay attention to it.
21 March--Newly-arrived
Leeloo is wrapped in sterile bandages and can't really speak a language that Faramir understands. He convinces her to borrow the cloak while they go to the hotel. (Unfinished)
