6 July--Psychotic Callisto arrives and Faramir tries to help her to the hotel.
6 July--An odd moment of thinking it's Mithrandir when Magneto arrives. He's floating on a metal disc but isn't the wizard. Answers the man's many questions. Magneto wishes to become mayor, which doesn't bother Faramir. Shows him to the hotel--Magneto splits the metal disc and Faramir goes flying. He will extend offer of employment to Boromir (once Magneto is mayor) but imagines Boromir would wish to meet him for himself.
9 July--Takes a break from work to grab some lunch and sees Stildyne. They have a mostly formal and polite chat about Dr. Koscuisko and what happened on the island. It's disgustingly civil and not sarcastic, both are reasonable about it. (Not Reasonable.) They part amicably.
10 July--Is seeking out a cave to camp in with Shasta and comes upon Erik, the Phantom of the Opera and gets lassoed. Talks his way out of that and learns a bit about Erik and his world. Is largely disgusted at how Erik has been treated all his life and believes that they created the Phantom, even if Erik isn't sure. Faramir secures permission to use the cave and his farewell goes better than his hello.
11 July--Joint arrival (whoa, joints?) of Sirius and Bellatrix Black. Despite his young age, Faramir recognises Sirius. There's three-way (whoa, three way!) verbal dancing. Sirius makes a smartarse comment and Faramir returns one and they all go to the hotel. (FTBd due to Bella-mun's computer issues, and I sympathize.)
12 July-- Prue Halliwell shows up at the library. She's wondering if she can do a photoshoot there. Faramir gives her the address to write to so she can ask but can't see why not. Asks her if she knows a Chris Halliwell. Yes, but she died before he was born. The usual explanations of weirdness.
12 July--Meets Thessaly, who is out gathering useful plants for potions by night. Helps carry things back to the apothecary and asks to buy his bottle of Dreamless Sleep since he's there anyway. Thessaly goes for more plants.
14 July--Meets Willow and has a long blab. Not only is she a library geek and talker as he is, she's a geek for LotR. He has to explain his island relationship with Buffy but they're disgustingly amicable and could talk a freakin' house down.
15 July--Mutant Sabertooth arrives. He is somewhat hostile (ahem) and is mad that he can't leave the village. Faramir explains as calmly as he can and points out the location of the hotel, hoping that Sabertooth goes there. This one does not work or play well with others.
17 July--Walking down the street, sees a gold object fly down to wrap around Menolly's neck. Goes to check out the fire lizard. This is the one Shasta's been talking about. (Not like that.) They learn a bit about each other's worlds and FTBs with Faramir blabbing--at Menolly's request--about Middle Earth.
19 July--Sees Jackrabbit outside his workshop looking very down. It's problems with his love life (Camulus doesn't love Jackrabbit) that have him down. Faramir can't give much good advice, really, but does hang out so Jackrabbit doesn't have to be alone.
19 July-- Boromir is back at work. Faramir gives him crap. Boromir seems to think that maybe Faramir should start looking but Faramir isn't so sure. Tells Boromir about Magneto's offer and they talk about people in village and on island who look like other people in village and on island. They go back to the hotel with Faramir telling what's been going on lately.
