For early May 2006
Meets Jeannie McKay who did not give her last name. But upon learning that she knew of astrophysics, Faramir mentions Dr. McKay. She isn't laughing at him, really. It's her brother. They talk about varied things--the oddness of the island, women working (inside the home it's still work and Faramir isn't sure why people from her world often don't think so.) Faramir thinks very highly of Jeannie--she chose her own path.
Meets a content Han Solo, who is wearing awful modern clothes and doesn't look like a space jockey. Han wonders how people could live not able to go from planet to planet and Faramir doesn't miss what he's never had. (Unfinished... as of 14 May 2006)
On the egg-hunting expedition, Faramir meets Sookie and doesn't even know that Sookie's an odd name. He passes on the important information that the doctors (Dr. Koscuisko and probably others) wish to try to use egg white as a binder for medicine. Specifically, the medicine for Marv. That is mostly why Faramir is on this trip. Eggs as food are a luxury but for medicine he'll help. He and Sookie talk a bit about how their homes are the very best places to live. About family and friends. He likes the accent.
I fell down on the job and somehow missed the actual egg-gathering thread parts.
Despite his not being a seamstress, Faramir answers Sansa's call for anyone who might have needles. He has metal ones and promises to make her bone ones. He requires no payment, but agrees to let her fix his cloak clasp anyway.
Meets Agents Scully and (sort of meets) Mulder. Link is for entire post due to nature of their entrance. RL concerns made them have to drop tags, so threads are unfinished.
Dinner with Richard and Bridget At Richard's place. Silliness, misunderstanding, bad fish, tea. No Riddicks were actually harmed during the making of this post.
Faramir finally goes on the hunting trip with Dr. Koscuisko. They discussed hunting way back at a party. Then Faramir was injured... They go. The doc is not doing well but hides the reason why. Faramir thinks he's overheated and sends him back to the compound for rest.
A conversation on the beach with Sirius, which is odd as ever. Sirius is back with Anna, whose name is Jane. Hunting, swordfighting, brothers, and Faramir's "chat" with Lucius. And Faramir learns he's a Gryffindor, even if Gondor's colours are black and silver.

Reads notice and speaks with Lord Marbury. How do we go about creating a system of law, then? Faramir is pushed to think of things that could be helpful on the island. This will all take time.
Thinking it's Regulus, Faramir says hello to Will Turner, newly arrived to the island. After clearing up the misunderstanding, he learns that Will knows Captain Sparrow. Tries to help with where Jack would be--better for Will to hear the island's strangeness from someone who he already knows and is himself strange.
Speaks with Agent Scully just outside the caves. He gives her a lot of information and is trying to convince her that he is who he says he is. People not believing he's 'real' is new and he doesn't like it. (unfinished? as of 15 May 2006)
Responds to notice put on bulletin board by Sookie about needing help for drying meat. Learns that it's dinosaur and they start the process. Faramir had not considered that people might have laws about what foods they can or can't eat--Sookie thinks this might be one reason why people aren't eating the dino. (Slow-time due to appointments. We'll get it done. 15 May 2006)
