Diptyque L'Ombre dans L'Eau

Diptyque L'Ombre dans L'Eau - The notes are listed as black currant leaf and Bulgarian rose; Diptyque describes the fragrance as "the scent of a green riverside garden." It was created by Serge Kalouguine, who was also the perfumer for Diptyque Olène.

Thanks to consilium's convincing review, I decided to give this a go. This started out as greeny sweet & I think that's coz of the blackcurrant leaves & then evolved to slight rose notes with overpowering green-ness which is slightly sharp. Now this is a very good thing coz I love green scent esp when it is sharp. I can definitely smell hints of rose but it is not obvious at all unless I put my nose to my skin. This is good news for people who are not rose fans like me. Then slowly it turns powdery sweet. I think I like this already. :)
