Japonism Show in Arena
I love Japonism Show in Arena! Even though it has the same theme as Japonism Live Tour in Dome and the song list was quite similar, it feels like watching a different concert. It was like the difference when watching Scene Live Tour in Kokuritsu and Dome.
Intro:
I love how they started the concert with Tadaima. It was beautiful and if I’m among the audience, I think I will cry. It makes me feel appreciated to think that they created and performed a song for their return in arena. I don’t really remember, but I think it took Arashi 7 years to perform in Dome. So, it was nice to know they never forget their roots and see them performing in Arena once again. It’s nostalgic to hear them said Yokohama instead of Tokyo, like their earlier concert. It’s also nice that Arashi appeared as shadows in the beginning and only revealed themselves during the last chorus. Oh, and I love the way the audience responded with Okaeri for their return.
Members’ solo performance:
I love how instead of each member performing their solo song, they made it as a medley. They were funny during Aiba’s Disco Star, especially Nino who pretended to fall when he was doing the Disco Star walk before Sho came and helped him. Then, they were kakkoi for Ohno’s Rain before Aiba, Jun, Ohno and Sho came out of the door wearing costume for Nino’s Himitsu(Was it really the other members in those costumes?) Too bad the other members weren’t involved for Jun’s Shake it and Sho’s Taboo. Next time, I want them to exchange solo but I think whoever get Ohno’s would have a hard time singing his song.
They replaced the solo with member’s individual performance. It was the same with what they did for their solo in Japonism Dome except for Jun, who replaced the action scene he did previously with, as usual, DJ MJ. Nino looked so cute with his tap dance. I still think Ohno’s performance is scary with the mask and white hair. I love how Sho interacted with the audience for his drum performance. I am worried for Aiba during his performance. Well, even though Jun did his usual DJ MJ, I it is my favorite segment. I love how he made the screen looked like a phone.
Songs:
I love the changes they made. For example, during Sho’s rap in In The Room, the members danced individually. I love the transition between Mikazuki and Masquerade. Speaking of Masquerade, well, I love how they used their outfit to make the performance… hmm… I don’t know how to describe it but I prefer this performance than the one in Dome.
What makes me laugh:
Hahaha… OhMiya playing sword together during Bolero. Jun shooting the other four at the beginning and the end of Ai Wo Sakebe, including his attack on Ohno’s neck. Ohno’s face at the beginning of Smile Again.
MC:
Jun and banana. Nino imitated professional tap dance. Aiba already deleted the data for choreography before the end of the concert. Jun copied the idea for the concert from 99.9? Okay, it was an enjoyable MC.
Costume:
Favorite costume? Probably the one below. I don’t know what to think about what they wore for Mikazuki. But, I love the one for Masquerade. What they wore at the beginning was also nice.

Overall, I think it is an enjoyable concert. I just wish it would be longer!
