After about two months of watching Goblin, it finally ended on January 21, 2017. This drama is really enjoyable. What I love the most is bromance between Goblin and Grim Reaper as well as the relationship between Grim Reaper and Sunny. While everyone else was excited with Goblin/Gong Yoo, I watched the drama because of Dong Wook so yes, he's my priority when I was watching the drama. Kind of like LDW after watching him with Little Daebak in TROS. Daebak's samchon, fighting!
Honestly, this is my first time watching all the actors/actresses in the drama. Well, I never watch My Girl properly so it doesn't count. My favorite character is Sunny. From her very first appearance in the drama, I was attracted to watch her, She was... I don't know how to describe her. I like how strong her character is. I mean, well, it was sad to watch Eun Tak can't remember anything about 9 years ago even though she knew something was wrong, but I think it's sadder to watch Sunny pretending not to know anything. I was really afraid that she will kill herself when she said that she's going to move and sold his building. If she killed herself, I will definitely hate her. I'm happy that she had a better ending with Reaper in their next life, not as Reaper and Sunny but as Lee Hyuk and.... I forgot her name in her next life.
As for Goblin & Eun Tak, we should know they will get that kind of ending, right? I mean, he is still goblin and she is human. Even if Eun Tak wasn't killed because of the accident, she will died someday, leaving Goblin alone too. Even if she was reincarnated, it wasn't the same Eun Tak even though she had memory as Eun Tak. Maybe, I will like it better if he became human once the sword was pulled from his chest. But, well, as the title of the drama is Goblin The Lonely and Great God, I guess it was his fate to be alone till the end.
Another concern I had about the drama is Deok Hwa. I mean, he is one of the main characters... but... why wasn't he shown after 30 years or whatever? I thought it will him that the man met when Goblin asked him to walk the opposite direction, but it was just CEO Kim.
Oh yes, another thing. As I watched the ending of this drama, it reminds me of an Ohmiya fic that I read a long time ago. Probably around 2012-2013. The author was Mokohno and she was one of my favorite. The title of the fic is Lost Soul (Another coincidence, ET was called missing soul by GR) and was one of the saddest fic I ever read. I don't remember the details of the fic and I don't want to read it again because I will cry again and again and again. If I'm not mistaken, it's about Nino being a vampire and Ohno is his lost soul. Jun would kill Ohno in each of his life because of the revenge he had for Ohno and Nino. So, Nino would be lonely waiting for Ohno to be reincarnated.
