Distraction - A New OTP?
I am not a fan of K-drama or K-variety. I've only watched Running Man if SNSD came as the guest and the first season of Hello Baby because of SNSD. As for K-drama, the first drama that I watched was 'My Girlfriend is a Gumiho'. Though it started pretty good, I didn't like the ending. I've also watched a few episodes of Ghost, My Fair Lady and 49 days. The only drama I watch from the beginning till the end after gumiho was I Hear Your Voice. Well, I prefer to watch J-drama than K-drama because it was shorter. However, this year, I've been indulging myself in the K-world.
It starts with The Return of Superman. Blame Little Daebak for that. I couldn't resist watching it because of the cutie and adorable Little Daebak.
Then, I watched the last 4 episodes of W. My sister had been babbling about that drama, telling me all her theories. So, I couldn't help myself from watching before she told me about it. Even though some people were complaining about the ending, I love it.
Then, it was Scarlet Heart Ryeo. Instead of watching it on her laptop, my sister was watching it on television. Sometimes I would be distracted to watch a few scenes from the drama.
Currently, I've been watching Goblin. This is Little Daebak's fault as well. Lee Dong Wook came as a guest in one of The Return of Superman and he is so adorable so I cannot help but to watch his new drama. I even had a dream of watching it a day before it starts airing so I guess I will give it a try. It's worth it. The bromance between Gong Yoo and Dong Wook is.... Daebak! Sunny is also funny to watch and Eun Tak is great as well. I love Deok Hwa as well. I even assigned Arashi member as the main characters of Goblin.
But, the one that I really love is Scarlet Heart. When my sister first watched it first, I wasn't really interested. 'It was just Lee Joon Gi', that's what I've been telling myself. I know both Joon Gi and Dong Wook from My Girl 10 years ago but I prefer Dong Wook over Joon Gi. However, watching a few scenes from Scarlet Heart as my sister watched it, I couldn't help but thinking how handsome, how dashing Wang So is. But, I don't really want to watch it because I know it's going to be a sad drama. I was proven right when a lot of characters died in that drama.
But, TV station made a marathon of the drama last Saturday and Sunday. Of course, my sister would watch it even for a few episodes. She was watching episode 6 when I joined her. I was attracted to watch the whole drama when I was watching it and ended up asking for the drama from her. So, from Saturday until yesterday, I've been doing my own marathon to watch the drama. Even Little Daebak was left behind as well as Arashi because of the seven handsome prince from Scarlet Heart. (are all of them handsome? Hahaha. So and Baek Ah are handsome. Yo's eyes is my favorite. Eun is funny. Jung is nice too. Wook is handsome but I don't really like him. Won doesn't really left an impression).
Because I know it's going to be a sad drama and I don't really want to cry watching it, I watched it while doing other things. So, I wasn't really focusing when I watched it. I thought I'm not going to cry watching it.... but.... I was wrong. I cried watching it even with my attempt to not really focusing. I remembered crying when Moo died and Ji Mong remembered the past when they talked together about the future. I cried when So met little Soo. I cried a lot watching that drama and I still feel like crying whenever I remembered the scenes in the drama. Ah, I really think it was a great drama and I hope there would be a sequel because I want So and Soo to be together in the modern world.
Of course, as I watched the drama, I ended up shipping So and Soo together. LeeLee couple. Joon Gi and Ji Eun. They are just too adorable and cute together. I really want to see more of them so please, producers and directors, give me the sequel so I can watch my new OTP!
Now that I'm done with Scarlet Heart (I bet I will do a replay of a few scenes from the drama daily. The pegasus scene would be really nice to watch again and again and again), let's get back to Arashi!
Hae Soo and the seven handsome princes. Even though I love to assign Arashi members in any dramas I watched, I couldn't do it with this drama. The only one that I could assign is Sho as Baek Ah.
