I went to see it yesterday with my family- we're all old fans.
It was fabulous! A great new start or revisitation! And I just wanna say that my old love of Karl Urban has just been reawakened and tripled and Zachary Quinto really got Spock! I thought they did a great job of casting- not necessarily for looks- but the actors really pulled off the original casts' mannerisms (except for Shatner's traditional line deliveries- but that was ok). The writers incorporated many lines from the original series as a tribute that were perfect and at point the banter had me laughing so hard I couldn't breathe.
