Writing
I've been missing a writing group lately, so I went hunting around this morning (though not too far, thanks, LBS, I do love your Monday blog posts!) for some motivational writing stuff. I had promised myself that I would get a lot of stuff done over the summer, and I did get 8some* of it done, but now with school starting again in two weeks, I'm feeling the crunch, particularly the writing crunch, to get things done. Last night I started one of the projects, which was to go through some old notebooks and get into the computer stories and parts of them that I had started by hand.
One of them is an almost-complete novel that I wrote (yeah yeah, missing the ending, of course), and I found the beginning of it this morning. Yea!
So - because I'm feeling inspired and because these look very cool - a list of prompt sites from various writing magazines, and a daily prompt site that emails the prompt to you!
For us Mag 7 people, there are the wonderful Friday prompts that Randi leads for
mag7daybook (along with the delicious.com list of them) and the awesome prompts at
fic_promptly for various fandoms.
