I'm watching the A's play the Giants, getting ready for the season to officially begin April 1st. This game is especially fun because it's the American League against the National League, and the A's are just across the bay from San Francisco, so it's a "cross-town" rivalry, too.
We have new neighbors! I met them last week. They haven't moved in yet, though. We're gonna have an all-female house, seven of us!
I had yesterday off *Cesar Chavez Day*, and I'm on vacation all next week. Yay!
I'm expecting a couple more bookshelves so I unpacked the rest of my books. I can't wait to get them on the shelves. I tidied up the boxes in the spare room and cleared off the "kitchen" table to use as a writing space. That felt really good. And the place looks a lot less messy now.
Next project, closets! Yeah, pretty scary.
Heard about a movie called Nomad (The Warrior) playing at the local art house. It's set in 18th-century Kazakhstan. A young boy is destined to unite three warring tribes into a single nation. The preview looks fantastic! I'll definitely go see it.
Now, I've gotta pay bills and balance my checkbook. The fun just never stops around here.
