Once a Month
If I keep this up I'll be lucky to post once a month. I've taken on more work at work and it's keeping me busy. My routine was getting a little stale and I liked the idea of learning something new. It turned out to be more complex than I anticipated and only after two weeks do I feel like I have things figured out.
If it's November it must be National Novel Writing Month! I signed on this year and have already fallen behind. My word count so far is 13,557. If I average 2500 words a day I can still make goal. It's doable. The seed for this story is an idea I had about 25 years ago and I found it in a folder along with a dozen other ideas. I was surprised to discover how well the rest of the story is coming together. And the research has been fun as well. It's been very helpful for me to attend write-ins and I don't know what I'd do without my writing buddy.
My sister and I went to see the movie RED with two friends from work. We all liked the movie and we had a good time over lunch at the cafe next door to the theatre. I love spending the afternoon with good fun, good food, and good friends.
