A disturbing moment

I opened it up, lifting it to my ear. "Hello?"

"It's Maida." I said in a calm voice. I had worried that I would be nervous whne speaking to her, but once I heard her voice the nervousness evaporated.

"Oh Maida, Hi! How are you?" I said, sitting down in a waiting room chair.

"I am doing good." Well I was aside from the disturbing vision I just had.
"How are you doing? And Giles? I hope you all got through the battle pretty much unscathed." I said, curling my legs beneath me in an attempt to get a bit more comfortable on the bed.

"Uh yeah, I wasn't hurt, but some of our other people were unfortunately." I said frowning.
"Is everything okay Maida?"

"I'm sorry to hear that." traces of sadness seeped into my voice when I said that, but then when death was spoken of it always made me feel a bit that way.
"Is everything okay Maida?"
"I'm not sure." there really was no reason to lie to her, besides Willow would probably sense that there was something troubling me even if I tried denying it to her.
"Will everyone be heading to Cleveland?" I asked.

"You're not sure? Something sounds wrong? What is it?"
"Uh, about that. We're actually going to be heading to LA now..we were going to go to Cleveland, but Buffy had a vision about another hellmouth, so now ones forming under LA." I frowned.
"Where are you at?"

"Don't go." If Buffy had also had a vision then things definitely would not be good if they went there. There was definitely a dark cloud over LA and who knew who would survive this fight, if any. But then when had the slayer or any that fought with her shirked away from a possible fight or apocalypse.
"Where are you at?"
"I'm actually in Cleveland at the moment." I said with a soft smile, I could just imagine the hows? and whys? that must be going through Willow's mind at the moment.

"Don't go? Maida, did you have a vision too, or something?" I asked her, being serious now.
"Your in Cleveland? What?" I asked, rather calmly taking in account all of the questions I had going through my mind right now.
"But LA is where we're going. They need us to save the world..yet again."

"This is not something to be discussed over the phone, Willow." I stated calmly. Rising up from my bed I went to the closet to pull out my bags.
"Where can I meet you in LA?" I asked, tossing the bags onto the bed.

"Um well we don't even know when we're going there. I think for tonight, Buffy had wanted to stay in a hotel so we could all get our rest, then leave for LA tomorrow." I said to her.
"Do you want me to call you again tomorrow after we arrive, or do you just want to head there before us and we'll meet up at Angel's hotel, the Hyperion." I asked her.

"Alright." I said, opening my bags so I could start putting my things in them.
"Do you want me to call you again tomorrow after we arrive, or do you just want to head there before us and we'll meet up at Angel's hotel, the Hyperion."
"I'll most likely be in LA by tomorrow as I am planning on catching the next flight out." I hadn't made flight reservations yet, that would happen once I finished speaking with Willow.
"The Hyperion, right. Will this Angel be there and if so should I be looking for a man or woman?" I knew the name could fit either gender so I figured it good to ask just to be on the safe side.

"Okay, I guess we'll see you at the hotel tomorrow then." I said to her.
I smiled. "It was nice talking to you again Maida."

"Alright, I will see you all at the Hyperion tomorrow and it was good talking to you Willow, though I wish it were under better circumstances." I hung up after my talk with Willow only to make another call. I was lucky enough to get a seat on a flight leaving for LA in two hours, that would give me plenty of time to pack, let Mystique know I would be leaving and make it to the airport in time to catch the flight.
So this Angel was a guy, I wonder if Willow would inform him I would be arriving at his hotel sometime in the early morning hours, most likely before the sun had even started to rise.
