Willow had gone for a walk. She thought I was asleep, but truth be told, I was sad. I couldnt figure out for the life of me, why I was back here. Why would I be brought back, if not for some important purpose? I couldn't understand it. I sighed, and snuggled down under the covers. Maybe I could sleep, and forget things for a while.
I was dreaming.

I picked up my purse and fished out my cell phone. Calling the Hyperion, I waited for an answer. Maybe somebody there knew what the hell was going on. I let it ring.

"Hello?" I said into the reciever, waiting to see who was calling our hotel.

"Anyway. Willow's friend came here to the coffee shop. Tara, I think? I think there's something going on. Cause, well those two have been locked up in the bathroom for a bit." I said, realizing exactly how wrong that sounded. "Oh I don't think that came out the right way though."

"I don't know..I just came down from my room. I haven't seen anyone else around." I said, looking around for some of the others. At least I knew where Angel and Faith were I thought rolling my eyes as I sat down at the desk.
When Cordelia mentioned Willow and that something had gone wrong with Tara, suddenly I was all ears.
"Wait, what happened with Tara?" I asked, concerned now.

"What happened with Tara? Your guess is as good as mine. She came in and couldn't talk, or didn't want too, or something. Then they went into the bathroom and here I am with my coffee and Willow's cold coffee."
"Does this thing happen often with you guys?" Random weird occurrences were of the norm back in Sunnyhell and it wouldn't surprise me if they followed them to Los Angeles.

"She couldn't talk?" I asked, raising an eyebrow, while trying to figure this out. "Well, I wouldn't say that Tara has always been the talkative type, but she's never not talked before." I replied.
I let out a small laugh.
"I don't know. Maybe. I'm the slayer, so I wouldn't be suprised if they did follow me around."

I glanced back towards the bathroom.
"I'm not a slayer, only formerly half-demony and yet, these things still happen here."

"You're half demon!?" I asked, suprised at this.
"Sorry..but yeah these things still happen."

What ticked me off was the fact that I was thrown out of my chair and my head felt like it was going to implode. They felt worse then they had before, but then again, I was a half-demon for almost two years, meaning pain free visions.
"Long story. If we have time, I'll explain later. Not something I need the whole coffeehouse to hear."

I let out a small laugh. "Yeah, gotcha. Do you want me to head on over there?" I asked, standing up from the seat at the desk.

"No one's stopping you, Buff." I said, a small smile in my voice. "Maybe you can figure out what the hell is going on."
This is what I get for asking a favor. More trouble then I had bargained for.
"We're at the Starbuck's down the street from the hotel."

"Okay, I'll be there in a sec." I said, before hanging up the phone. I walked out of the lobby doors, hugging my coat to me against the cool breeze that came inside. I had the weirdest feeling though that this somehow had to do with the First, and it was scaring me.
