Hark! m/a meta roundup & ZOMG VAMPIRES
01. I have been spending a lot of time over at shapingdestiny , a comm for meta discussion on and general squeeing over Merlin/Arthur. A lot of the conversations have been really awesome, and I really hope this comm never dies! I'm collecting some of what I've said for future reference and potential fiction ideas (not that I'm in short supply of the latter). This might become a regular feature in my journal depending on how much blahblahing I do.

02. So I watched Eclipse and was actually very much entertained. My favorite of the movies so far, and not only for all the Jasper that is in it... although he does have a large part to do with it. (Just look at him! And he is in uniform and he is angsty and he is adorable with Alice. I still maintain the fact that they are one of my favorite het couples despite my lack of adoration for the series.) The action is pretty fantastic, although I dearly wish there was more clever!training and crystal-vamp-smashing going on. I was giggling throughout the whole thing, making delightfully crude comments to my bff and just reacting to the ridiculous faces everyone was making. My biggest criticism would be about the fail of the scenes where they would just be sitting around having a big ol' wankfest talking about their feelings. Like the tent scene? Talk about awkward. (Although... the clear homoeroticism between the two boys was unf.)
