Let's get Wicked
Ok, as suspected I am ready and excited for Wicked Faire.
Woke up this morning, reasonably refreshed, if not a little disappointed that I have to skip the gym.
But as soon as I started pulling together costume ideas and stepping into my garb it's was an instant transformation of mood and demeanor.
I love it.
I was originally planning on a sort of Steampunk Air Pirate, but I lack the skirt I really want and a decent hat so I pulled a few things together and have adopted something of an Evil Queen ensemble. It is exceptionally amazing and I still get to wear my new corset! (pics to come later).
I love getting dressed up. I can not describe just how happy wearing silly clothes makes me. I should just drop the normal wear, even if it is all standard black, and simply take the time to lace myself up and wear outrageous clothes all the time. I would be thrilled.
