spring break
i had the best spring break! granted it would have been better if i had more money...but even though i was broke it was awesome!!
i flew to chicago sat. morning and me and stiner went and had renaldi's pizza right away...oh how i love that pizza! then she had to work on a paper (she wasn't on spring break) so we went to barnes and noble and i found this book Delaying the Real World which had my name written all over it. so i bought that and i'm already loving the book!
on sunday we headed out to the south side for the st. patrick's day parade. we were in a packed pub at 2PM (gotta love st. patrick's day in chicago). as we were leaving we met some people and headed to their home to party. we met alot of cool people (one in particular that i have a little crush on) and didn't head home until 2:30AM.
the rest of the week i wondered the city mostly alone while stiner was at school or work. i did some window shopping, went to the art institute of chicago musuem, and had lunch with nate.
wednesday night i went to meet my cousin after school and hung out with her. then we met her parents (my aunt and uncle) at a fancy french restaurant. i had steak and pomme fritas (french fries) and yummy chocolate souffle. then me and stiner headed out to a bar to see my other cousin's band play. they weren't so bad and it was good to see him. i didn't tell him i was coming; i planned on just suprising him. so it was priceless seeing his face of confusion and then suprise when he realized who i was.
i went home thursday night. my plane was delayed an hour and the airport was so crowded i started getting cranky. plus there was this group (about 12-15) of loud and obnoxious people waiting for the same flight, thankfully they fell asleep when we got up into the air.
i miss chicago already!
yesterday (saturday) i headed over to galveston to see my old dance team at a competition. lyndsey met me there. it was good seeing her and all our girls we use to teach. they're all grown up. it makes me feel old!
i miss dance a lot too.
today i went to church at my dad's and then had lunch with the fam. now i'm back in austin.
well i'm off to unpack.
