now that fxy for 2014 is officially over i would like to take this moment to say a great big thank you for dedicating so much of your precious time to the fic exchange. i saw the number of fics you wrote while pinch-hitting, and i thought you deserved at least a special voice of gratitude; for writing more than your prompt dictated, and for the wonderfully fluffy prompts you have provided me.
so i thought i should tell you, i actually started on all three of your prompts.
i misunderstood tee when she said that we should pick one prompt and get started. (clearly, english shouldn't be my first language. but it is.) i thought she meant pick one to start on and then get working on the other two. i didn't realise i only had to write about one.
my first choice was actually your domestic!fanxing AU. i got as far as 3k on it before starting my draft for teacher/student fanxing (which turned out to be just a rather lot of mentions about dick and porn. i'm sorry!) and inspiration for the coffeeshop!AU didn't strike me until just a day before our first check-in.
and then tee told me about "just the one".
but by then i'd fallen too much in love with the lame Kris i'd created and snarky kyungsoo that i just couldn't stop. i'm not a long distance writer. in fact i tend to stop at just 5 pages on ms word. but i kept pushing on and in the end churned out just over 7k of a fic. given more time and less idle procrastination on my part, ideally i would have loved to give you a whopping 20k fic. i'm terribly sorry that didn't happen.
but the point i'm trying to get at is, if you would graciously give me just a bit more time, i would be honoured to supply you with the remaining two prompts you have given me. they might be super short, but i feel like you deserve some remuneration for your hard work. if you'll have it, of course.
