This is more than just about police brutality and this is more than about gun control. We have a society with the highest incarceration rate in the world -- yes, the world -- and statistically we specifically target

There was a very good article that I can't find at the moment about how the powerful have pitted poor black and white people against each other for about 300 years, to keep them from recognizing their real enemy. It's a sobering and frightening perspective from which to view recent events.
