The British guy who delivers milk to work and I were talking about the holiday yesterday, and I described it as, "a patriotic holiday where the point is to get pissed and light exploding things on fire." We were amused. ^^

My comic books store is "closed all day Saturday, July the fourth, in honor of our papas in wigs telling King George the what-for." A clever phrase, and I am also amused.
