A yearly Devil's Advocate Announcement..
I know this post may get some negative response but I must do it anyway. A little while ago I was listening to N P R's Fresh Air program. In the days of old it would come on at five p.m. and that would be the time for me to get ready to go home from work. Anyway- they did a review of My Chemical Romance's "The Black Parade" Album. They noted that the band had a tendency to come across as morose,angry and even bitter.But,not with particular album.In some ways according to the broadcast, the music was actually an antithesis of how these guys made themselves out to be. the Album is enjoyable. I had to agree with this reviewer and also (here's where the hate starts) think these guys are actually trying to push a bit of bullshit our way. to be bitter, or angry is acceptable to me as long as it has continuity. I also think that the lead singer has a quality that is whiney assed and little bitchy. Does this mean I dislike the band-not at all I've liked all i've heard so far... Also don't blame the radio show for my feelings-they didn't just help me pop these ideas in my head.
